Pastoral and student support services
Here at Training 2000 we endeavour to ensure that you have the best support available to complete your course. Whether you need someone to talk to, to discuss your mental health and well-being or to support you with disabilities and learning difficulties we can help.
Wellbeing
You may, at some time, have a problem that is either work-related or personal, which you feel you cannot discuss with your Supervisor/tutor. It often helps to talk it through with someone else, so our Wellbeing Advisors are here for you.
SEND and Learning Support:
Following an in-depth assessment of your needs we could potentially offer:
- Additional or changed resources
- Maths/ English Tuition or specialised
- Additional day release / activity
- Assistive technology: eg IT, dictaphone
- Increased hours of teaching (time)
- Mentors / support workers
- Size of group variation
- Note takers, scribes, readers
- Changes to teaching schedule (dates, durations, breaks)
- Issue-specific workshops
Safeguarding
Here at Training 2000 we take your safety very seriously. We do this through regular risk assessments and ensure that health and safety is our priority. We have a zero-tolerance policy for bullying and harassment.
We have a team of safeguarding officers who are fully trained to be able to support you should you have any concerns regarding your welfare. This will be treated sensitively and professionally.
If you are suffering from bullying, violence or abuse of any kind, please don’t keep quiet, you can talk to one of our designated safeguarding officers.
